Bruce’s Doggy Day Care required a new website to support an ambitious expansion plan; one that would see them go from a single site to becoming the UK’s leading national dog day care brand. This called for a new website, with a more emotive and distinctive experience to appeal to the modern pet parents willing to invest more than ever in their pets’ health and wellbeing.

Uprated were tasked with delivering an online experience that reflected the values of the business and really brought their story to life. The result is an interactive, vibrant and immersive experience, which has delivered measureable growth for the business.
Our design and development team worked collaboratively with the team at Bruce’s to design and build a series of individually curated components into the business’s content management platform, WordPress.
Content blocks were designed and built into Gutenberg, the native content editing component found in the latest version of the CMS. This allows the internal team at Bruce’s to create beautiful content pages, dragging and dropping the blocks they require onto each page.
Uprated implemented a location based strategy to define and develop the structure of the new website.
Individual landing pages were created for each Bruce’s centre, with each page being carefully optimised to perform for both organic and paid activity. The website also uses a cookie-based system to offer a personalised and localised experience for visitors, helping to drive conversion.
Enquiries and bookings have measurably increased following the launch of the new website, driving growth notable growth for Bruce’s.
A mobile-first approach was adopted for design and UX, which as led to a significant lift in conversions via mobile devices.
The new website has been significantly optimised, scoring over 90/100 for Google Page Speed.
