Bruce’s Dog­gy Day Care required a new website to support an ambi­tious expan­sion plan; one that would see them go from a sin­gle site to becom­ing the UK’s lead­ing nation­al dog day care brand. This called for a new website, with a more emo­tive and dis­tinc­tive experience to appeal to the mod­ern pet par­ents will­ing to invest more than ever in their pets’ health and wellbeing.

Design & Build
WordPress, Gutenberg & Customisation
A bespoke approach to design and development

Our design and development team worked collaboratively with the team at Bruce’s to design and build a series of individually curated components into the business’s content management platform, WordPress.

Content blocks were designed and built into Gutenberg, the native content editing component found in the latest version of the CMS. This allows the internal team at Bruce’s to create beautiful content pages, dragging and dropping the blocks they require onto each page.

Driving Website Traffic & Enquiries
A location focused approach to growth

Uprated implemented a location based strategy to define and develop the structure of the new website.

Individual landing pages were created for each Bruce’s centre, with each page being carefully optimised to perform for both organic and paid activity. The website also uses a cookie-based system to offer a personalised and localised experience for visitors, helping to drive conversion.

A mobile-first approach was adopted for design and UX, which as led to a significant lift in conversions via mobile devices.

The new website has been significantly optimised, scoring over 90/100 for Google Page Speed.

A number of new centres have opened following the launch of the website, driven by digital marketing campaigns, also from Uprated.
